Kane’s POV

“You hurt him, he’s sulking so much that I can’t get him to shift back. You talk to him damn it!” Obsidian was yelling inside my head while he looked like he wanted to rip my throat out. His claws dug into my shoulders, he snapped his teeth at me when I didn’t respond right away.

“Okay, fuck!” I went to push him off of me but he held me down and dug his nails deeper. I gritted my teeth as shadows began wrapping around my body. “What are you doing Obsidian? Let me go.” He licked his nose and looked around.

“I’m not doing that, you know I can’t wield Byron's magic, and besides it’s no joke, I’d never.” I rolled my eyes at him knowing full well if he could he would.

“Well then get off me at least. You aren’t light!” He whined, a strange noise for him. I’d never heard him do that before. What was happening? Gabe had shifted and seemed like he was waiting for something. What the hell was he waiting for? Much longer and I’d be crushed by the shadows. I felt my flesh ripping
