“What are you doing here?” I asked in shock, mildly annoyed at his ever-present smirk. The man was too self-assured for his own good. He just smirked at me more before lifting off the wall and walking a few steps towards me. 

“I am here little wolf because the council asked me to be. As a member, I couldn’t exactly refuse.” He informed me with a shrug. “Apparently there’s something going on that has a lot of shifter groups in the area concerned.”
