The pain of watching him go couldn’t be put into words. I wanted to touch him, to kiss him, and tell him that he has gotten it all wrong. I wanted to make him see me like he used to see me.

The pain he was going through, and the pain I was going through was exploding in my head like a firework, and I honestly didn’t know why. But, it was like I had been torn into two.

“Mike…” I whispered inaudibly, but he had stepped inside.

I sat there on the cold ground, feeling more lost than I had ever felt. I had no idea what I could do to make him see that I didn’t wish him or the pack members evil.

My fingers dug into the earth, as I stood up clumsily. I had no idea where I would go from here. I didn’t want to go either. I wanted to talk to Mike. I wanted to answer all the questions that must have risen up in his mind. I wanted to tell him the truth.
