I stood with my legs akimbo as I stared towards the starless night. There were a lot of things happening, and I was expectant to know what the outcome would be.

Marcus had gone to talk with Maya. Knowing her like I did, I believed she may have gotten second thoughts, which meant will would have to work faster on setting her up or it may turn against us.

“Ian, do you think Marcus will be successful?” Tom asked behind me.
