Alpha King Alexander's POV

I paced about the room as my thoughts were around the pack members. Their responses concerning the report I asked for had started coming in. My mind hadn't been at rest since Hailey's incident. My father warned me but I thought I cared for the pack members a lot to avoid all this.

Kill me? Attack me in broad daylight? I couldn't wrap my mind around it. Has my attitude not been satisfactory enough for the pack? Or do they truly mean what they say about me being mean, cruel and heartless? But I doubt that, I think Hailey just reacted that way because of what happened to her grandmother.

I walked out of my room, I needed to see Vanessa and Adrian.

"Get the vehicle ready!" I said to Kate.
