Chapter Fifty Nine: Final Moves

Ava's POV

“Logan, may I go with Ava for a while?” I looked at Logan and then back at Aiden

“Sure, you may. But make sure you hand her back to me in one piece.”

“That's not an issue at all.” Turning to me, he extended his arms and said “Shall we?”

I smiled and took his hand as I wondered where we were going. I looked around for Isabella as I followed Aiden but I didn't find her anywhere so I just asked him.

“Where's your wife?”

“Who is my wife?”

“Come on Aiden, you know I'm talking about Isabella.”

“Ohhh, she? Well first of all, she isn't my wife anymore as you will be soon. And second, she said she wasn't interested in the party as long as you were going to be in attendance so I gave her two options.”

“What were they if I may ask?”

“I told her that she could either stay here and attend the party without complaining or she could go and visit her mother.”

“So she chose the other option right?”
