Chapter One Hundred and Four

Logan's POV

"What serious issues are you talking about?"

"That's where we are heading to."

"Well then, I'm all ears."

From what I was seeing, she didn't seem to be asking herself any questions because she was eating her food clearly unbothered and waiting for me to speak.

"I noticed something. At first I thought that it was just a fragment of my imagination and that I was thinking too much but I became more observant and noticed that I wasn't just overanalyzing things and what I was seeing was real."

"And what was the thing you noticed?" At this point, she took a sip of water, pushed her food to the side and looked straight into my eyes.

"When the kids are around, you act all lovey dovey with me and I like it because we're showing the kids how to love in a way. However, I realized that once the kids are no longer there, everything changes and it becomes like the slightest things I do just annoy the crap out of you."
