Ava's POV

My heart pounded as Aiden and I locked eyes, the weight of our conversation hanging heavy in the air. I took a deep breath, steadying myself for what might come next.

"Aiden," I said, my voice still measured, "I need concrete answers about my kids. I've been through hell, and I won't rest until I know the truth. If you have any information, now is the time to share."

Aiden nodded, understanding etched across his face. "Ava, I know you've been through a lot, and I don't expect you to forgive me. But I genuinely want to help you find the closure you need."

I couldn't deny the sincerity in his eyes, but trust was a fragile thing, and I wasn't ready to hand it over so easily. "Aiden, I appreciate your words, but actions speak louder. If you have any evidence or information about Logan's involvement in the kidnapping, now is the time to lay it all out."
