Chapter One Hundred and Twenty Six

Logan’s POV

Logan sat in the dimly lit living room, a swirl of conflicting emotions running through my mind. The weight of my responsibilities as an Alpha pressed heavily on my shoulders, and the recent attacks on packs in the surrounding areas only intensified my burden. The television droned on with the news, with the broadcaster reporting grim updates on the escalating situation.

The TV person, called a newscaster, had a serious face. She wore a neat suit, and her voice sounded urgent as she shared the not-so-good news. "Breaking news," she said, "more attacks on werewolf packs reported in nearby areas. Many are scared, and leaders like Logan are facing tough times."

My ears perked up as I listened. My face showed how much I was worried. "I don't get it," I said quietly to myself. "Why is this happening? Packs should stick together, not fight each other."

The newscaster continued with the sad news, talking about the problems other packs were facing. I got up, moving around the room
