“Why does Jake want me?” Destiny asked as she trotted hastily beside Serra.
“I have no idea,” Serra replied, walking rapidly towards the Alpha office. “Is it regarding my visions?” Destiny asked.“Probably,” Serra gave a one-word answer which frustrated Destiny. The spicy, delicious smell filled the hallways as Jake wandered towards the kitchen. Following the aroma, he pushed open the big doors to the kitchen and leaned at the entrance to watch. “We need to talk,” Destiny noticed that she was clutching Jake very tightly. Standing in front of a full-length mirror, Destiny stared at the lines on her body. Her mother's tattoo had been more like a maze, lines ran apart from each other, but always running parallel. Hers were more floral. It looked like vines had grown all over her body. It gracefully followed the curve of her hips and breast.
