He kept a dry face when she rushed towards him with an angry face.

"How could you be easily so deceived?" Lilith questioned, but instead, he pulled her into his right embrace, inhaling her scents and resting his chin on her shoulders.

She sighed, hugging him back and rubbing his back slowly and gently at the same time.

"I don't need you to scold me right now, just hug me alone." He said, more like with a devastated voice.

"What happened?" Came Lilith's question without pulling out from the hug she knew that he needed.

"I hate refraining myself, but I'm beginning to do things because of you."

"What do you mean? Did someone get you angry?" She asked, and finally pulled out from the hug to stare at his face.

"No, I won't lose you to anyone, nor will I let anyone hurt you."

She smiled and leaned to give him a little peck on his cheek. "My king, the slave trainer is innocent, I think you were fooled by Ryder." Lilith said.
