CHAPTER 34

ARTHUR

After spending at least two hours in solitude in his father's chambers, Arthur had just one question.

"You are still here?" his father asked in mild shock when he came back.

"Have one last question," Arthur spoke as he stared at the beautiful domed cieling.

"Ask away, my boy," his father smiled as he undid his belt and placed it on the hanger.

"How did you know that Chloe is not my true mate? And, how do you know when you come across your true mate?" Arthur asked seriously.

His father stared at him for a long moment, then smiled pitifully. "You asking me latter states you have not yet encountered your true mate," he sighed.

"Explain," Arthur insisted.

"Well, I knew Chloe is not your true mate because she lost you..." his father started.

"Meaning?" Arthur was confused.

"You cannot lose your true mate, my son. First your wolves are connected, and as your wolf is a part of you, you and your mate get linked in minds post that first mating... the bond strenghtens once you
