Chapter Twenty - Eight

ALEXIS’ POV

I sat in the car beside Max as he drove to my Mum’s house. After I was declared 90% healed from the accident injuries by the doctor, I figured it was time to go see my mum. I was a bit elated. I’d regained such height of healing in just a little over two weeks after the accident. It was phenomenal and I just had to give great credit to my accelerated healing abilities. I’d always had it. Healed quickly more than anyone. In high school, it made me a great asset during sports. So, I threw myself into it. I’d taken martial arts, football, track and even some gymnastics. I’d also been a cheerleader. Then I had won a sport scholarship to college on the basis of my impeccable record on track.

I had represented my college in various races and never ever lost one. I’d ran various meters and even ran a marathon which I also won. It had been incredible. So even when I sprained my ankle or twisted my knee or anything of sort, in just a matter of days, I was as good as new. This earn
