The days passed and I grew more comfortable at the Scarlet Pack. Peelle or Alita were always by my side, their parents Claudia and Evan seemed to adore me, I even met some of the other high ranked members and their families and they liked me as well. The only problem that remained was… Osborn.

He looks at me from afar, but never tries to engage with me.

I walk to his office door and knock on it and take a deep breath as I wait for him to tell me to come in. Once I hear his voice, butterflies erupt in my stomach. My palms sweat and I hope that this won’t be a mistake.
