Athena's POV

I recognized the tattoo on the men that attacked the palace to be Ardolf's men.

It was a symbol I had seen numerous times during my days of being in his cabin.

As chaos erupted within the walls, I knew I had no choice but to leave. Eagerly, I made my way out, my heart pounding in my chest.

I jumped into my car and drove swiftly towards the woods, seeking solace and a moment to think.

After parking, I ventured into the dense forest, the leaves rustling beneath my feet. The cabin loomed ahead, a dark shadow amidst the towering trees. As I approached, my heart began to race once again.

Ardolf stood at the entrance, his formidable presence sending a shiver down my spine. "You have finally arrived," he said with a smirk, his eyes locked on mine.
