Chapter 83

Third person POV

Rachael walked through the front door of her mother's house, greeted by the familiar scent of her mother's cooking.

The twins both rushed to her side, enveloping her in tight hugs.

"Rachael, we have missed you so much!" Hailey exclaimed.

"Yeah, it's been too long since you've visited," Hilary added.

Rachael smiled, feeling a warmth in her heart at their enthusiasm. "I've missed you both too. Let's catch up over lunch, shall we?"

They all sat down at the dining table, Laughter and chatter filled the room, creating a sense of joy and togetherness.

As they finished their meal, Rachael turned to her mother. "Mom, can we talk in private for a moment?"

Her mother nodded, leading her to her room. Once they were alone, Rachael took a deep breath, unsure of how to begin the subject that had been weighing on her mind.
