Hannah assured Flora she would not tell Orville about it, she also encouraged her not to think of aborting the pregnancy.
Either she encourages her about the abortion or not, Floea would never abort her baby.Flora felt releived after spilling her burden to Hannah.
"Concerning your brother, I think Orville is the only person that could help. I know he will be dissappointed when he finds out that you are pregnant but when he hears what lead to your pregnancy, he is supposed to calm down and reason with you, afterall, he seemed to love you." Hannah said.
"He loved me?" Flora asked, finding it very hard to believe. She did not believe that Orville loved her at all, she only beleived that Orville was only acting gentlemanly to her because he was a kind man or because he was trying to treat her delicately because she was far younger than him.
