Chapter -94 "Surprise Visit"
I was about to sink deeper in confusion when the door of my room abruptly opened and a loud growl boomed in the background causing me to freeze to my place….
My mind goes completely blank as I witness the panic expressions showcasing on Rhy's face. She ran inside my room and closed the door behind her. I'm not understanding what is going on here anymore as the sound from downstairs is getting higher. Sounds of grunts and growls are getting closer second by second. Was I right about the burglars? Are there thieves who broke into the house? But what's not making sense is Rhy's behavior. The Ryn I knew was brave but here she was hugging me close to her shaking body. I'm not sure she is aware of it herself but her grip is hard and crushing me.
Why in the world is she not calling the cops? Wait, is there any? I guess not at all.
