Chapter 55

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, groggy and disoriented. The events of prom night flashed through my mind and I groaned, dreading another day of the same taunts and stares.

I dragged myself out of bed and got dressed, steeling myself for another day of school. I knew that the hallway would be filled with whispers and stares, and my heart raced at the thought.

I was really happy yesterday because it was a Sunday, I had fun with Miguel and no one bullied me. I just hope that today won't be bad.
