Chloe’s POV.

"Yes ma'am," I said with a smile tugging at my lips.

“A bastard like you? want to work?” the woman asked and frown my brows.

she burst into laughter, her laughter echoing through the street. I wondered what was so funny and why she called me a "bastard."

"I'm sorry, but we don't accept someone Like you," the woman said, and her words pierced into my soul, bringing tears to my eyes.

"What do you mean, ma'am?" I asked, hoping for an explanation. Instead, she glared at me hatefully and continued with her work.

"Ma'am, please, I really need this job. I'm willing to do anything you ask. I'll never say no to your requests," I pleaded, hoping she would understand.

"I won't repeat myself," the woman said through gritted teeth.

I looked around, and the people nearby were minding their own business.

Sniffing back my tears, I glanced around one last time before walking out of the shop.

This story is really dragging out and hopeless Liam is such a weak guy and an asshole the whole pack is and he really doesn’t seem any different than Alpha Jax Chloe is so weak too the story says alpha’s regret but honestly Liam doesn’t regret dissing Chloe for her sister just his image
