Chapter 60

Naomi's POV

After eating breakfast, I decided to leave for my bedroom but I could sense Raven trailing after me and so I went to the kitchen and she joined me.

She must have made a sign to the maids because the next minutes they were all filing out of the kitchen until it was the both of us remaining.

With my hands folded across my chest, I crossed my leg as I leaned against the caninet, waiting to hear what she had to say to me.

“Did Alpha Baron know?” She asked, closing the gap between us. When she suddenly stopped several meter from where I stood, a smile crept to my lips.

She must have given me enough space so she wouldn't get her bones cracked for the second time. If I had the chance to repeat my earlier actions, I was going to do it but this time around, I would ensure she was badly injured before I let go of her.

“How do you expect me to have a response to that?” I asked and began shaking her head sideways.

“I was expecting you to act like you didn't have an idea but you answer
