“Faster, you snail!”

My alpha command resonated in the practice ground, hastening Beta Alex’s dying steps. Currently, he was completing 90th lapse, sixty more were yet to be done.

Instead of paying attention to his task, he stopped in front of me, and landed on the ground, baring his neck in submission.

“Mercy! Please have some mercy, Alpha.”

I scoffed at his plea; he should have considered the consequences of offending his Alpha.

“Was your punishment not enough, Alex?”

Alex’s eyes widened as he wiped the stream of sweat flowing on his face, his voice was shakier than before.

“Please, Alpha. I am innocent. The rogues were the real culprits in this case. They killed the entire pack heartlessly.”

What a dumb wolf!

Even after this tough punishment, he was clueless of the main issue. I wished to punch him to knock some sense in his brain.

“It’s not about the Blue Moon pack, idiot. I am not interested in pursuing the case against Helena.”

So he found out Sylvia framed his mate and lied to him. Why is he still giving her money? He threw Helena in jail with no hesitation. Why is Slyvia not in jail for deceiving an Alpha? This makes no sense.
