“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney.

If you can’t afford an attorney, one will be provided for you.”

The officer was reading rights while cuffing Liam’s hands, a sudden surge of panic coursed through my body.

“No, no. This isn’t supposed to be done!”

I raised my head, my terrified eyes met with Zayden’s icy ones, the glacial cerulean with gray mist was what stared back at me.

“You promised!”

My voice was barely above whisper, audible to that Alpha standing beside me. But he chose to ignore it and concluded that pathetic show-off.
