I clearly remembered that Zayden and I left Amelia and Beta Alex in the living room to deal with the remaining gift boxes, as Alpha got a phone call from his office.

Then how did this happen?

Zayden’s half shifted body jumped at some invisible opponent, I ran towards my friend who was hanging upside down from the ceiling.
