Helena’s P.O.V.

“When will mommy wake up, brother?”

“She is sick, Uncle Liam’s medicine will heal her soon.”

“I want to go home, brother.”

Firstly, I thought that my mind was playing tricks on me as these hushed whispers slithered into my ears, then they became clearer with every passing moment.

My eyelids were glued, it was so difficult to open my eyes, but the worry trailing those concerned words clenched my heart. I opened my eyes and blinked repeatedly to adjust with the brightness of the light, two pairs of small arms circled my body gleefully.

“Mommy, you are up!”

“Ashton, Scarlett? My little angels?”

The happiness of their voice made me forget everything. I didn’t even question how I reached this hospital room and grabbed their tiny hands.

“Are you alright? Did you eat and sleep well?”

Ashton feigned to be the responsible man of our house and reported to me,

“Uncle Alex took us to the cafeteria, and we ate sandwiches with milkshakes. Don’t worry, you need rest.”

Please tell me this chick is not going to continue being Daft blaming her entire body movements and even breaking wind as his fault? But she ain't got that same energy for no one else, but the one person who saved her...what an evil troll. She annoys me to no dang end.
