Chapter 17~ She messed with the wrong Lady

EMILY:

I was scared of being alone. I had no idea why Tyler kept recurring in my dreams for a few days now, but it was something scary.

I had always wanted to go meet him after I was reborn, but I couldn't. After meeting Christian and Lilith, all I wanted was to have a good life and forget about the past. I wanted to pursue the career I had sacrificed in the past for Tyler, and have a little kid by my side to keep me company whenever I was sad or I thought of my baby that I had lost.

Christian didn't want to go to bed. I didn't want him to stare at my face any longer.

"I told you I'm fine now."

It was really unexplainable how I became so close to him to a level I could ask him to stay with me because I was scared of being alone.

"I don't believe you." He replied.

I heaved. I didn't know what to say. With the expression he had on his face, I could fucking tell he was curious about my past, and what I had been through. I wasn't going to tell him or anybody.

"I wanna go up now." I said.
