Chapter 69: Emergency Ward 2

Halfway home, I felt a very sharp pain around my chest before realizing that my heart was also hurting so bad. Unable to continue driving, I had to pause the car and step down to take a deep breath in and out. Something was wrong and I could feel it. It was like there was a boundary, but I could still feel it.

I took a deep breath in and tried to ask myself what was wrong, but Kyle spoke to me, "It's our mate!" My eyes instantly turned red, making me try to feel Emily's mind, but I couldn't.
