"How is it possible? The mayor never mentioned you going up the mountain." Amanda was bewildered.

I lowered my face and said, "That's what I wonder. He was the one who suggested it to me, but why when I went missing, he didn't tell anyone about it."

"Perhaps he was the one who harmed you. He lures you up the mountain to attack you and wants to kill you." Amanda opened her eyes wide, covering her mouth with her hand, her face full of horror as if she had just discovered a shocking secret.
