Chapter thirty eight
AURORA'S POV
This last week has been a lot better with Dax, I have seen him more, he has been working less and we are spending quality time together when we are with each other.
I can feel his anger and his stress through our mate link, but he controls it and deals with it where before he wasn't.
I found out through the chatter that there was an altercation with Nelson, Dax and Riggs. I wasn't happy that he kept that from me, but I know he did it to protect me, that the reason he always does. I am stronger than he thinks I am and I am the Luna of this pack. So I think me and him will be having words.
I march to his office and open his door. Dax and Riggs are at his desk, Dax in his chair and Riggs in a chair oppsit, they are looking over a map of our territory.
"Aurora, you OK?"

Alpha Chapter thirty nine
I got home after spending all day with Sue and away from Dax, I didn't realise how much I missed him until now. I pick my pace up and go to his office thinking he would be in there but he wasn't, do I make my way to our room but he isn't in there either. I wasn't sure when I was going to tell Dax what the guy who attacked me said because I knew he was going to flip out and I knew I wasn't going anywhere no matter what that guy said. DAX'S POVHearing those words come out of Aurora's mouth, I just saw red. Who was this bastard who seriously thought that I would allow her to leave me? Who thought he was good enough to take on the Alpha of this pack and challenge me and my mate and Luna of this pack. Me and Dax got back to the pack house and had our food, we thought we would ring Peter up to make sure that he was ok with us coming to him house again tomorrow. I couldn't hear that it was vampires that had done this."No it can't be vampires. They haven't been around for years." Riggs says, standing at the side of me he droops from the news. We spent the rest of the night looking at all of his Dad's paper work to see what he had in place for the protection of the pack from the vampires. We added our own thoughts to it and then we planned a meeting for in the morning with all the wolves that took part in helping protect the pack they needed to implement these as soon as possible, we didn't need anything else happening.I was also planning on talking to my Mum tomorrow. She needed to know Peter was dead and she needed to know about the vampires. I have asked Riggs to be there aswell as she will probably try to leave the pack grounds and go find the vampires.
