Vampires

We traveled for half an hour or more into the heart of the city. We reached an area where the houses are scarce.

As we go further down the road, there are two big black gates guarded by four guards.

As we go through the gate, I start to feel that something is wrong. If what these people said is true, then Darius should be here. I know him, he won't let me come here without him.

If that's the case then I should be able to feel him by now. I can't feel his presence here. I concentrate and search for his presence, no I can feel nothing. 

Did he leave the place before we can come here? But I cannot even feel his essence. 

That can mean only one thing. They must be lying about the point where they told Darius to send for us. Oh my god, these lying bloodsuckers.

If I ask them now, they might restraint us or do even worst. We have to act smart and I need to let Darius know where we are. Then it will only be a matter of minutes, he'll be here.&n
