***POV:Cyrus***

This evening has gone off without a hitch. Violet is everything a man could want and more and she has been right under my nose this whole time. As we finish dessert I reach across the table and take hold of her hand. The conversation between us tonight has been so easy, and effortless. I don’t want the evening to end, I don’t want to go back to reality.

“Violet, thank you for agreeing to go out with me. Tonight, has been perfect and exactly what I needed.” I saw earnestly.

She smiles, her eyes lighting up. “I know what you mean, I feel the same way. I don’t want this night to be over.”

“Who says it has to be?”

“Cyrus, a little presumptuous, are we?”

She laughs, the sound delighting me. “I know, I just had to tease you.”
