Chapter 103

Amara's POV

I woke up lazily to a sore face with pains causing me a headache. I touched my face and discovered that it wasn't as smooth as it used to be and wondered what was done on it.

I reached out for the mirror but noticed that it has been removed making everything feel fishy. I wore a shawl over my camisole and walked to the door only to meet Luciano trying to come inside as well.

"My face feels sore," I whined like a child.

"Sorry about that, the pain will lessen with time," He assured me while I shook my head in disagreement.

"I need to see what I look like because I feel strange right now," I demanded but he didn't listen to me.

"I'll tell you when to do that just forget about it for now," He discouraged me while I pouted my lips.

Since he didn't want me to check out myself I calmed down and left the room as my stomach was already grumbling in hunger. I guessed that was the effect of the injection.

People looked at me strangely wh
