Luciano's POV

My anger subsided mainly because of how Amara cared for me. I was wrong to yell at her that way but I couldn't control the anger I felt. I was even surprised that I didn't beat anyone up and that was when I realized that I was better than before.

I liked the tattoo on her face and wanted to compliment it but I couldn't as I was interrupted by Shuri.

She barged into my office with tears after Amara had left the room. I stood up to meet her while she hugged me crying profusely.

"What's the matter?" I asked though I knew what it was all about.

"Massimo wants to buy me, Luciano. Can you stop it from happening? I don't want to live with him again," She begged causing me to feel sad and angry at the same time.

"It can't be stopped, Shuri, you just have to endure it," I encouraged her while she shook her head defiantly while resting on my shoulders.
