Amara's POV

I wished that morning didn't have to come as Dee woke me up so I could have my bath. I grumbled that he was interrupting the only chance I had to be same. He noticed my frown but ignored it which infuriated me the more.

"Why do I have to bath now? Isn't it too early?" I protested.

"We are expecting visitors and I don't want you looking like an old hag,"

His words stung but I didn't give him the satisfaction of knowing that his words affected me. He peeled off my night gown quickly and hauled me to the bathroom.

He hurriedly put me in the shower cabin then scrubbed my skin. This time, he was rough and nonchalant about how his actions affected my body.

"Can you slow down? I didn't ask you to invite guests so don't spoil my skin," I snapped and sent me a glare.

Since he was in a hurry, the bath was quick. He left me alone to apply my lotion and asked me to cooperate with Mariam and her team or I would be punished later.
