“Terminate her contract immediately” Todd said over the phone to the human resource department. Work was hectic over the next few days, a new site was starting up, one was in the planning stage, one was at finishes stage and the handing over date was getting closer, Todd was so bust with site inspection, fixing of all the challenges arising with the new site, they had called from the new site that the dimension on the drawing were not fitting into the site and Todd had been working with the design team to come up with a workable plan, they succeeded eventually by reducing each partition of the drawing by 0.2m, the site that was slated for handing over in the following week also had some mechanical faults that needed urgent attention, Todd was so busy arranging for solution he hardly got any sleep, by Friday though he had managed to solve all the challenges he was exhausted, Amber knew how much he had been working and she couldn’t do much to help, when it was closing time, she didn’t see him leave the office, she thought he was working late again but knowing there’s no emergency

Todd dropped Amber off that afternoon and went back home to rest, he was so happy he got to spend time with her and he knew how she felt about him, though she didn’t say much, he could see the way she looked at him tenderly, his only worry was Jake Morris, the supposed childhood friend who seems to be competing with him, he was able to pry information out Amber so he knew Jake was taking her out the next day, his lip curved into a smile as an idea popped into his head, he drove home and went straight to bed to rest.Amber was relieved to see Jen didn’t show up for the weekend at her place otherwise she would have seen Todd dropping her off which would raise more questions, she sat on the chairs and brought out her phone remembering she still has to call Ann to inform her about the outing of tomorrow after all they were both invited.Ring!
