Chapter 12

Princess Sheila’s POV

The house felt boring as I walked out of my room. No dad or mum, just the sound of the TV talking about the recent happenings in the human world. Our identities were secret to them. They wouldn’t know if we attacked them or not.

“Where’s dad?” I asked as I turned around the living room searching for him. I knew I left him there some minutes ago before I went to my room.

His absence was normal, but he remained at home, waiting for me to come home. It was unlikely he would leave just at the moment I saw him. I walked to his room, turning open the door to be greeted by his absence.

“You said you wanted to go to the garden, and I wanted to take that opportunity to roam the woods for a while,” Lisa’s complaints filled my inside as I searched for someone who could take care of himself.

Heaving a sigh as I turned away; I walked towards the door. The guards at the door made a little bow as I passed between them.
