Chapter 13

Alfredo’s Pov

It’s been a week since my engagement and all I’ve done was sleep, eat, and repeat the routine. Not even have a chance to run the pack, as my mother had taken over everything without letting me in on some.

“You should let her know how you feel,” Dex said as I threw off the blanket from my body, pushing my feet to the ground.

I let out a yawn while I stretched my hands to the sky. Done with it, I was on my feet, moving to the bathroom when I fell to the bed again. I only needed to remain in my study or leave the room and some maid would come clean the house.

“Even if I let her know what I feel. I doubt she would let me in on any of those meetings she has with those old men that call themselves elders,” I said, my voice muffled by the bed I placed my head into.

“She wouldn’t know about it if you do not tell her,” Dex’s words were enough motivation as I pushed myself out of bed, strolling into the bathroom like the royalty I was.
