Chapter 21: Blood in the White Snow
Riding on Fierns, Evan, Nino, Helen, Ashley and a group of Myrim Knights and Guards followed the road that the stranger pointed out.
Also by the way, 'Feirns' are large four-legged animal with a mane and tail of feathers, it's body and legs are covered with shiny soft hair, it has hooves, and a long head with a beak of a mighty eagle.
Even thought it's strange and an alien to us but this creature looked majestic, like a new discovered raise of chimeras. It's main function is the same as horses, but it is more used by warriors or a single person-ride, unlike the certain species of dragons that draw a carriage.
The road they followed has left and right turns but if you go straight it will lead you to a great area of woods. Evan's suspicion is pointing to the forest ahead but he can't also ignore the possibility that Mayari might also be hidden deep in the city, so he devided the group.
