I was freaking out!

I thought I had it in me to stay all alone in the huge apartment, but the more the time flew by, the lord uncomfortable it got.

With the boring decor that looked like it was inspired by sadness, I couldn’t help but think where my ‘husband’ had wondered off to.

He had certainly looked like he had wanted to be anywhere else but near me. And as much as I knew he was a jerk, I couldn’t help but understand him.

It wasn’t everyday you woke up, and having just lost your father and still in mourning, found out that he had willed all of his properties to a stranger. Including the company you has worked so hard for.

Paul had barely talked about his children. But I knew enough to know that they were both very hardworking, and had lifted up the London branch from almost nothing, and by their own means.

The only thing they lacked from being the perfect family, was being close to their father, who spent all his time in New York, hopping from one business deal to the other.
