Signed off to the dreadful Alpha King

Daisy's POV

"I have said you will go to school next year!" He yelled at me

"Next year?" I scoffed.

It all seemed like a dream to me. I could not wrap my head around it. Everything around me was happening so fast.

"Is that promise you made to Mother!?" I yelled back.

"I will not answer to you." My stepfather gritted his teeth.

I knew the signs of his uncontrollable anger and I knew the consequences if I continued speaking but I had had enough! This had been going on for months and my life was in danger.

"You don't have to answer to me. Your actions have done that a long time ago. You pranced around the Pack with different sizes of women while you squandered my trust fund like a spoilt child and now you tell me to wait a year?" I was like an uncorked overpressured bottle.

"What about the times I had to clean up your mess also? Have you forgotten how you made me lose this same chance last year with your gambling habit?"

"You gambled my tuition fee and came back home with nothing! Since my mother's death, every second I have spent with you is full of re-regret." I suppressed a sob.

"You delayed my life for one good year. And now I finally got into school, I have to wait for one whole year." I spoke with so much venom in my voice.

"Watch it, you tramp!"

"No, you watch it!" I ignored all forms of inward warnings. He took bold steps towards me cracking his knuckles.

"I am tired of being the adult here. You know what you are? You are a pathetic lo-" His right hand connected with my left cheek before I could complete my sentence. The slap stung my cheeks causing tears to roll off them freely.

"I am tired of you and soon, I will soon do something about it." He glared at me.

"I hate you!" I spat out before I stormed out of the house in rage as the noisy street drowned my stepfather's last words to me. Unable to control the emotions surging through me, I broke down in tears.

This was life after just a year of my mother's death. I wondered how I would be in one year. I loved and missed my mother but she made the biggest mistake of her life the day she married Reginald Hatchman, my stepfather. A mistake I would never make.

Dear Moon Goddess, please end my suffering. Even if it means joining my mother in the world beyond.

I stomped my feet on the ground and let out a scream into the cold chilly air. Maybe I needed to take a walk to calm my nerves. I could not go back there in this mood.

I strolled around the Pack inhaling the cool breeze before finally settling on a thought in my heart. I turned around and went back home.

I walked into the compound with a plan in mind. One even my stepfather could not stop me from doing. However as I pushed the front door backwards, I found myself staring into the most beautiful pair of blue eyes I had ever seen.

His hair was a permed silver ombre, giving him the perfect Alpha male look. I found myself drawn to him like a spell. Like a moth drawn to flame. He looked like a fallen angel with two beautiful dimples on his cheeks which added to his boyish charm.

His lips were full and pink and his blues held me with a great intensity. I couldn’t stop staring. My breath hitched.

I roved my eyes hungrily over his body. I was finally standing before the renown Alpha whom ladies of the city would kill for.

"Good- good afternoon Alpha." I stuttered in recognition.

"Afternoon."

He was well-built and looked domineering.

Little wonder, most Packs feared him.His jawline was sharp and I imagined a smile on his lips. It was rumored that he never smiled.

My eyes caught the now filled up center table. I arched my brows in utter confusion as I wondered what was going on. Ignoring the wads of cash on the center table "What is going on?" I muttered.

"Go in and pack your things, you will be going with Alpha Maximilian." He ordered me.

"Why?"

The question died on my lips when I saw a knowing smile spread on his face as he crossed one leg over the other. I knew this wasn't good news.

I am tired of you and soon, I will soon do something about it.

His words before I dashed out of the house flashed through my memory as I shifted my gaze to the table. There and then I knew what had happened. My stepfather had sold me off to the Dreadful Alpha.
