Dimitri arrived at his home at noon. The dark clouds were burned out of the sky, replaced by a vibrant yellow-orange glow. Most of the water had dried off the pavement by the time he arrived. Davina's car was also in his driveway. A glance through the pulled-back curtains confirmed that his sisters were making themselves comfortable. 

Vienna looked out the window, and he waved at her. "When I gave you the keys, home invasions weren't what I had in mind."

Before he could process what was happening, Vienna was at the door, throwing it open and launching into his arms. 

“Oh, I was so worried.” She cried. 

“About what? What are you guys doing here?” He staggered back, holding Vienna.
