Aurelia's POV

I holed myself up in my room, the car ride home had been silent and awkward, Gio had picked up on my bad mood and didn't say a word. He dropped me off and I raced up to my room. For the past two hours, I had been sitting on the floor with my back against the wall, I didn't bother to change my clothes, if I was going to die, I should at least die looking my best.

God, what had I done? Judah was going to kill me, he won't spare my life. My mind flashed back to how his eyes burned when he saw me with Silas. Fudge, I should have never picked up his call. I should have just ignored him, at least I wouldn't have lied to him.
