Chapter 73: LAW

We'd gotten rid of one thorn in our side with the Fox, but there was still a lot of shit on all our plates. The SEALs were still hunting down the men who'd killed their CO, I still had Junior and the sheriff to deal with, and Lyon had his new shit. Creed is the only one whose shit was pretty much done.

"So let's put this shit together, what're we looking at?" Lyon prowled around the room in that way of his, like a panther about to strike. "These boys were just telling me about your little bird that got away again. You sent the asshole bigot packing but we all know he's probably back in those hills starting his fuckery again. What else?"

"The sheriff, gotta get rid of his ass somehow. Once I take care of those three things I'm pretty much in the clear, but we can't have any loose ends if we're going to invite the senator here."

"Have you ever thought of going to him?"

"Thought of that Creed, but that would mean Brand and his woman going it alone, not gonna happen." We'd played aro
