Chapter no 11

I knocked on the door and waited outside to hear an answer. It was almost evening, and I had changed into my sweats, deciding to stay in for the rest of the day.

“Come in,” My father said from the inside. I opened the door, walked in, and closed it behind me. My father smiled as he looked at me. He had a paper in his hand, and glasses on his nose, through which he was reading whatever.

“I hope I didn’t disturb you?” She asked him, approaching the sofa he was sitting on.

“No, My dear, how would you ever do that?” He asked, smiling. Gosh, I came here to complain but he is in such a good mood. Maybe I should try a different approach.

“About today,” I said settling onto the sofa with crossed legs, “I was wondering if we could shift back to the large number of guards that stayed outside my school, rather than one roaming inside?”

“And why is that?” He asked, looking at his paper.
