Chapter no 18

They were on their way to her home but as the car got closer to her home, her heart sank more and more. She didn’t want to go to her room alone, curled up on her bed trying to sleep with the day roaming in her mind. She needed an escape, only if it was for a few minutes. She needed some calm, some peace. She needed some cool air hitting her face, removing all her worries. I don’t know if her vessel was full, or if it was just the alcohol talking but she wanted to cry. She didn’t cry, she hated crying.

“I want to…,” She settled in her seat. “I want to go to the ocean,” She said.

“It’s late at night,” Mason says lightly.

“That is why you are here,” She said.

The car turned to the direction of the ocean and she sighed in relief, rolling down her window and placing her head on the side of her seat. Soon enough, the salty air of the air hit her breath and tickled her nose. In front of her was the Pacific in its glory.
