An Enemy

Asher keeps the note in his pocket. He knew he should go directly to see father and report the threat, but he didn't want to make a big fuss out of something he could handle himself. Whoever shot that arrow wasn't trying to kill him but to deliver a message. It still bothered him but he was very good at putting things in the back of his mind. He would deal with it later, for now however he wanted to see Kira and have her in his arms.

She wasn't in her chambers when she got there, he was surprised to not find her since she never once last her room in the past weeks. He thought that she was still healing from Evan's betrayal, so Asher made sure to always come around, to show her that although she didn't have Evan he was still there for her.
