Tangled

"What are you doing?" someone asked, in the deepness of the fog.

I tripped and stumbled a bit, my hands holding on to nothing as I walked. It was a strange place-mostly because it wasn't a place.

But there was a voice speaking to me and it wasn't like the one before. This time, I was in control of myself.

And I caught myself walking forward.

"I wish you'd leave me alone. Whoever you're looking for, is dead. Accept it." the voice said again, but it was louder like I was getting closer to the person that was talking.

The fog never dispersed. It stayed thick and suffocating, and I continue on.

"That's close enough." the voice says, and there's an edge to her voice, like she's warning me the way a rattlesnake warns others.

"Celia?" I say, not moving.
