Tanner In The Center: Chapter 27

Tan nervously waits for Sven to come over as his mom sets up the table and his dad is in his office working.

"Are you going to help me, Tanner?" His mom asks

"Sure." He starts to set the table with her "when Sven gets here could you please not ask him if we're in a relationship?"

"Are you in a relationship?"

"No mom we're not he's my friend"

"Sure ok" she smiles "I'll go get your father." His mom walks away, knocking before opening the door "Scott dinner's ready"

"I'm very busy right now Sheila is his boyfriend even here yet?"

"No, and he's not his boyfriend"

"Then why are we meeting him? I have cases I cannot waste time meeting all of Tan's friends"

"Listen to me!" She hisses and Tan hears them "we said we'd try for him right? Our son wants us to meet this boy so get off your ass and try!" Walking back to the living room Tan stares at his mother "he'll be out soon."
