Chapter Twenty Five

I witnessed Simon fall to the ground by the impact of Ray's rough hands and Mia was now standing by my side, giving me a confused look until her eyes landed on the floor.

"What the hell is going on? Why is he on the floor?" she freaked out, questioning me in fear but I could feel my mind zoning out and I was unable to process anything.

I should stop Ray before he hits him again and gets arrested or something.

"I can't believe you didn't tell her. Are you afraid that she will leave you if she knows the truth?" Simon asked him with an evil laughter and my head started to pound.
