Chapter Twenty Six

The ride back to the apartment was filled with complete silence and I hated myself for being such a dramatic bitch.

Why didn't I just hear him out before opening my stupid mouth?!

I kept biting my lips, waiting impatiently for the elevator to reach our floor. I had a lot of questions circling through my mind and I just messed up everything with my stupid assumptions.

"God, could you stop doing that?" he muttered through gritted teeth and I turned to my side to look at him.

"What?"

"Nothing." He snapped before running a hand through his hair and walked outside swiftly as soon as the elevator doors opened.

I let out a loud sigh and followed him inside our apartment.
